Buyer Policy

  1. 1. Introduction

This Buyer’s Policy governs all purchases made through the Concrix platform. By placing a booking and making payment, the Buyer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below. Concrix acts as an intermediary agent between the Buyer and the Seller to facilitate the sale of excess construction materials.

  1. 2. Booking and Payment
    1. a. Agent Role: All payments must be made directly to Concrix Malaysia Sdn Bhd as the escrow agent. Payments made directly to Sellers are not recognized or protected by Concrix.
    1. b. Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered “Confirmed” once full payment (including any applicable platform fees) is received.
    1. c. Price Finality: Prices listed are for the materials “as-is, where-is” unless stated otherwise. Prices do not include specialized loading equipment (e.g., cranes) unless specified in the listing.
  • 3. Pre-Loading Inspection (Critical)
    • a. Mandatory Inspection: The Buyer is strictly required to conduct a physical inspection of the materials at the Seller’s location before any loading takes place.
    • b. Verification Scope: The Buyer must verify:
      • Quantity and dimensions.Material quality and structural integrity.Compliance with the description provided on the Concrix website.
    • c. Acceptance of Condition: By signing the “Acknowledgment of Materials Condition” form, the Buyer accepts the items in their current state. Once the items are loaded onto the transport vehicle, the sale is final and non-refundable.
  • 4. Rejection and Refunds
    • a. Right to Reject: If the materials do not match the listing description during the pre-loading inspection, the Buyer has the right to reject the items.
    • b. Refund Process: If a rejection is verified by Concrix, the Buyer will receive a full refund of the purchase price within seven (7) business days.
    • c. Partial Acceptance: If only a portion of the materials is acceptable, the Buyer may negotiate a partial acceptance via the Concrix backend. The refund for the rejected portion will be processed pro-rata.
  • 5. Logistics and Transport
    • a. Third-Party Logistics: Logistics are handled by Lalamove or other third-party providers.
  • b. Transfer of Risk: All risk of loss or damage to the materials transfers to the Buyer the moment the materials are successfully loaded onto the transport vehicle.
    • c. Transit Issues: Concrix is not liable for any delays or damages caused during transit. Any claims regarding transport must be directed to the third-party logistics provider.
  • 6. Buyer Responsibilities
    • a. Punctuality: The Buyer must arrive at the Seller’s site at the scheduled time for inspection to avoid “No-Show” penalties or cancellation of the booking.
    • b. Safety Compliance: When visiting a Seller’s site (construction sites/warehouses), the Buyer must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • 7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding material quality during the inspection, Concrix will act as a mediator. The decision of Concrix, based on the listing description and physical evidence, shall be final.
